Premier Inn Stafford North (Spitfire) hotel

Just spent a night at the 'Spitfire' Premier Inn, Stafford. Stay was to the standard advertised & expected, although no capacity for hot breakfast due to a restaurant refurb BUT crossed the road & used 'Hurricane' Premier Inn & breakfasted there! I'd mention Sharon on reception at Spitfire who was genuinely welcoming when we first arrived & couldn't do enough to help us (to locate earlier arrived friends, direct us to a wedding venue & advise re local taxi's etc. Such a lovely lady).

Comfortable room and a great shower. Friendly staff, but the restaurant was closed during my visit. No toilet paper in my room on arrival but sorted quickly. Not a great deal of soundproofing in the room so a lot of road noise during the night.

Very nice stay, good location easy access to M6. Friendly staff, comfy bed and clean room. Quiet location, lots of parking and 10mins drive to Stafford town centre. Only negative was the restaurant waited around 5minutes to be seated totally ignored by 2 staff members. Was expensive so better off eating elsewhere.

Receptionist attentive and courteous. She assisted swiftly with a problem with the heating in my room without hesitation or fuss. Room was spacious and comfortable as we’ve compact at Premiere Inn. Two other issues arose during my stay… the heater was intermittently noisy when it came on and whilst I had plentiful supplies of tea & coffee I had no mugs. Less of an issue if I’d noticed earlier but as I was leaving early time didn’t really allow me to raise it at the tie.

Great service during my visit here. The lady on reception was lovely, we laughed when I mistakenly said ‘you too’ when she told me to enjoy my stay. I ate in the restaurant, the young girl with blonde hair seemed so busy but did not let it affect her service and she made sure everything was spot on!

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Spitfire and had an overall excellent experience. The hotel is clean, modern, and offers the high standards of comfort you’d expect from Premier Inn. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had a very comfortable bed, ensuring a good night’s sleep—at least for most of it! The location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and amenities, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travellers. The on-site restaurant served a fantastic breakfast with plenty of options, and the evening menu was equally enjoyable. Unfortunately, I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the room above, which was a bit disruptive. It seemed like heavy footsteps or furniture being moved, which wasn’t ideal. That said, I appreciate that this isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault, and I’m sure if I had raised it, the staff would have been happy to help. Overall, Premier Inn Spitfire is a great place to stay, offering excellent value for money. I’d definitely return—perhaps with a request for a top-floor room next time!

We arrived late in the evening at Premier Inn Spitfire with our two children and quickly realised we hadn’t booked a family room by mistake! Kate was absolutely amazing — she couldn’t have been more helpful. She immediately rearranged our booking and even went the extra mile to make up an additional bed herself to ensure we were all comfortable. Her kindness and professionalism really made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you, Kate for turning our evening around — we’re so grateful for your help and wonderful service!

Room smelt a bit musty but staff were incredibly helpful & friendly, - this was the 3rd premier inn I’d stayed at in a week & the team were all stand out in service level. Particularly the breakfast team who couldn’t do enough, think the ladies name was Jayne.
